The ADEA/Crest Oral-B Scholarships for Dental Hygiene Students Pursuing Academic Careers support dental hygiene students who are pursuing education beyond an associate degree and who have an interest in academic careers. An applicant must be enrolled in a baccalaureate degree program or graduate degree program in dental hygiene at an ADEA member institution; show a commitment to pursuing an academic career in dental hygiene; and be an ADEA individual member. Individual letters of nomination and evaluation from two faculty members that address the candidate's career goals and a letter of recommendation from the student's dean, dental hygiene director, or equivalent are required.
