1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Dan and Vicky Hancock Scholarship for Mechanical Engineering Excellence, established by Dan and Vicky Hancock, provides financial support for students pursuing college degrees in the field of mechanical engineering. Applicants must be planning to pursue a Mechanical Engineering degree through an ABET accredited program. Preference is given to students planning to attend or already attending Kettering University. A minimum unweighted 3.50 high school GPA is required for incoming freshmen; and a 3.0 cumulative college GPA is required for upperclassmen. Applicants must provide two Letters of Recommendation, one that focuses on academics and one that details involvement in extracurricular activities or employment. It is preferred that the extracurricular activity be related to the applicant's academic degree or career intent.
