1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The William Lucy Scholarship will be awarded to eligible members of Oregon AFSCME Council #75 and their dependents, grandchildren, and spouses. Qualifying members must have been active in the Oregon Council for more than one year as of the scholarship deadline or have been a member for more than one year preceding the date of layoff, death, disability, or retirement. Oregon residency is not required. Preference will be given to students who major in labor studies or political science. Part-time enrollment or graduate program enrollment will be considered only for active members, spouses, domestic partners, or laid-off members. Students may apply-compete annually and this scholarship may be received for a maximum of 4 years. OSAC receives FAFSA records automatically for Oregon residents only. If you are not an Oregon resident, you must upload the first page of your FSS (FAFSA Submission Summary from your FAFSA) to be considered for this scholarship. February 18 is the Early Bird deadline and March 3 is the final deadline for all materials to be submitted to OSAC.
