1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Edith, Louis, and Max S. Millen Memorial Athletic Award will be awarded to a direct descendant (child, grandchild, great-grandchild) of a member in good standing since 2021 of the Jewish War Veterans of the United States of America. If an applicant's relative is deceased, the member must have been in good standing at the time of their death. All members (including Posthumous) must have joined prior to 2020. Applicants who are descendants of honorary members and Patrons are not eligible. Applicants must be a high school senior at the time of application and accepted by an accredited college, university, community college, trade school, or school of nursing as a member of the freshman class entering in the fall of 2024. Applicants must have had significant, documented athletic achievement during their high school career. All parts of the application should be mailed to the appropriate Department Commander. Upon receipt, the Department Commander will confirm eligibility and sign the application form. Each Department will choose ONE application to forward directly to National HQ by the Commander. Department Commanders will send only one application to National HQ by July 1, 2024. Please visit the award's website for more information.
