The Patty and Paul Levi Research Award will be awarded to one predoctoral student and one periodontal resident. Eligibility is restricted to a predoctoral student or students in a dental school with a periodontal faculty or resident member as a mentor/principal investigator, and to periodontal residents. The dental school does not need to have a postdoctoral periodontal program but the research must be done through their Department of Periodontology. The research and associated research project proposal must be completed prior to their application. The applicant may still submit an application after graduating as long as the research was done while they were predoctoral students. Applicants must submit a current CV for both the predoctoral student and the faculty member.
