1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Richard H. Pierce Memorial Scholarship will be awarded based on merit and financial need, with the goal of assisting students who might not otherwise continue their post-secondary education without the financial assistance. The academic excellence will be demonstrated by the content of the applicant's transcript, GPA, and SAT. Scholarships may be awarded for up to 4 years, depending on the grade level of the student. Applicants must intend to enroll or be enrolled in a two- or four-year degree-granting college or university, which is accredited by the Association of Schools and Colleges. They must also show a strong desire to complete the degree program. Applicants must also have contributions to school, community, and/or work environment. Two letters of recommendation are required.
