1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The SCW Conrad Carpio Education DREAMers Scholarship was named in honor of Conrad Carpio, the father of Firm Partner Alex Carpio. Like many of the firm's injured worker clients, Conrad is an immigrant who came to the United States for a better life. Snow, Carpio & Weekley, PLC decided to name after Conrad Carpio, who like many of the firm's clients, are hardworking individuals who exemplify the American Dream and the injured workers the firm has represented for decades. Applicants must be immigrants who have entered the United States before age 16, and have lived continuously in the country for at least five years. They must have not been convicted of a felony, a "significant" misdemeanor, or three other misdemeanors. Applicants must plan to attend college by Fall 2024. Although not required, applicants are encouraged to submit recommendation letters and/or resumes to substantiate their application. To apply, please record an original video of yourself answering the following prompts: What sets me apart; What inspires me; Why I'm pursuing my degree. The video must be uploaded to YouTube or Vimeo and must include the hashtag #SCWDreamer in the actual video and in the description. The video must be more than 1 minute and less than 3 minutes in duration. Applicants must submit the link to their video in the application form.
