1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Gloria Scammahorn Memorial Endowed Scholarship will be awarded to one entry-level occupational therapy student and/or one entry-level occupational therapy assistant (OTA) student who are members of the Kansas Occupational Therapy Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association. Scholarship winners are required to present a brief statement at the Kansas Occupational Therapy Association Annual Conference about how the scholarships have positively impacted their education. Applicants will need three total references: an academic reference, a character reference, and a reference from their OT Program Director. The academic reference should be from a current faculty member or faculty advisor who can speak about the applicant's academic ability. The character reference should be someone who can speak to the applicant's character.
