1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The scholarship was created in memory of the late Martin R. Sullivan, a partner at Coopers & Lybrand, who had an interest in accounting education at New Jersey's independent colleges and in the preparation of students entering the accounting profession. The scholarship assists high achieving students to prepare for careers in public accounting. Three awards are available, with one award dedicated to students at Monmouth University. Applicants must be enrolled at any ICUNJ member institution; demonstrate superior academic performance and promise for a career in public accounting; and show engagement in community and career path opportunities. Applicants are required to submit a personal statement and a scholarship-specific essay. Applications may be submitted through email or mail.
