The Wayne Nelson, KB4UT, Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to those with any active amateur radio license. Applicants must be holding an amateur radio license for at least 1 year. Preference will be given to Central Florida hams (Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Lake, Volusia, Brevard and Polk Counties). If no suitable applicant is found, preference will be given to hams from the State of Florida. Eligible fields of study are Technical fields. Applicants must have a demonstrated previous grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale in high school or in the previous undergraduate year.
