1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
All Ouimet Scholarship candidates must have performed 2 or more years service to golf as caddies, or in golf professional or course superintendent operations at any golf course in Massachusetts. The candidate must also plan to attend an accredited institution of undergraduate higher education. Students may apply as seniors in high school or during their college career. Any undergraduate student, regardless of the type of degree they are pursuing, is eligible to apply. That includes those attending Junior or Community Colleges and those who plan to pursue bachelor's or associate degrees. It does not include trade schools, prep schools, or academies, only colleges, and universities. Scholar status is judged on academic achievement and potential leadership, including school and community activities, interviews, essays, motivation, character, integrity, golf service and various recommendations.
