The Jim and Dianna Murphy Scholarship will be awarded to graduates, including GED recipients and home-schooled graduates, of Oregon high schools. Eligible majors are diesel mechanic or technician; driver or operator of commercial vehicle, bus, or truck; or related areas leading to a career in the commercial trucking industry or in diesel technologies. Eligible colleges are two-year community colleges and for-profit schools only. Financial need may or may not be considered; filing of FAFSA is recommended. Students may apply-compete annually as this scholarship may be received for a maximum of 4 years.
