1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Keyera Energy - Peter J. Renton Memorial Scholarship rewards and encourages Alberta students to pursue studies in a post-secondary program in a field related to the oil and gas industry. Applicants must have completed the requirements for high school graduation in Alberta, and be enrolled in a publicly funded post-secondary institution for a degree/diploma program in a field of study supporting the energy sector, including but not limited to: business, communications, sciences and engineering, technical programs, and information technology. Preference will be given to the previous year's recipients providing they maintain the required GPA. A reference letter from the School Principal or school representative is required for application. The reference should include the strengths and weaknesses of the applicant and must include the date, name, and signature of the referencing individual. Recipients will be selected based on a combination of community service, employment, leadership and/or academic achievement. Applicants must be a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident of Canada, or Protected Person under Canada's Immigration and Refugee Protection Act. Visa students are not eligible.
