1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Deputy William G. "Billy" Giacomo Scholarship will be awarded to the children or grandchildren of law enforcement officers who work or have worked in Nicholas County. This includes City Police, Sheriff's Dept., and the State Police stationed in Nicholas County, DNR, or those officers living in Nicholas County employed by Federal Agencies. Applicants must be graduating seniors of Richwood High School or Nicholas County High School. They may attend any accredited college or university, with exception to a degree, which would lead to a career as a criminal defender. Preference shall be given to students pursuing study in law enforcement. Applicants must submit their most recent grades. They do not have to be the official transcripts.
