1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
Applicants for the SEIU Local 503/OPEU Student Financial Aid Scholarship must qualify according to one of these preferences in the following order: (1) SEIU Local 503/OPEU active members; (2) Laid-off members; (3) Children, grandchildren, spouses, or domestic partners of active or retired members in good standing; (4) and Dependents of deceased members who were active members at time of death. Qualifying members must have been active for more than one year as of the scholarship deadline. Part-time enrollment or graduate program enrollment will be considered only for active members, spouses, domestic partners, or laid-off members. Children, grandchildren, or dependents of qualifying members must enroll full-time and will be considered only for undergraduate programs. If applicable, a completed Affidavit of Domestic Partnership must be filed with the member benefits department at SEIU Local 503/OPEU. Students may apply-compete annually as this scholarship may be received for a maximum of 4 years.
