The Friends of Bill Rutherford Education Scholarship will be awarded to the children of individuals serving in the Oregon State Legislature or holding statewide elected office (Governor, Treasurer, Attorney General, Secretary of State, Commissioner of Labor, or Superintendent of Public Instruction); this does not include judicial positions. High school graduates, including GED recipients and home-schooled graduates, may apply. Financial need may or may not be considered but filing of FAFSA is required.
