1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Susan R. Meisinger Fellowship is for an SHRM member or those who hold a SHRM Certification (SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP). A minimum of three years experience in HR and minimum five years of total professional work experience, including HR experience, are required. Applicants must be accepted or enrolled in a degree-seeking master's program at an accredited university. They must have at least 50 percent of the degree requirements remaining. Applicants must also have a GPA of at least 3.0 in undergraduate program; or a GPA of 3.5 in a graduate program, if enrolled. Applicants must have not received another Master's degree in an HR-related program. Recipients must commit to working in the HR field for a minimum of one year for every year of funding received.
