The Milton Fisher Scholarship for Innovation and Creativity is a four-year renewable scholarship open to exceptionally Innovative and Creative high school seniors and first-time college freshmen. This scholarship is not a traditional scholarship focused on rewarding academic achievement and financial need. Its specific goal is to reward and encourage innovative and creative problem solving. The scholarship aims to honor students who excel as creative problem-solvers and to help make their higher education goals more accessible. Applicants must either be (A) a Connecticut or New York City metropolitan area resident planning to attend or attending an institution of higher education anywhere in the United States, or (B) a resident of any part of the U.S. planning to attend or attending an institution of higher education in CT or NYC. The Selection Committee will select the applicants who show the most promise as innovative, creative problem solvers, on the basis of their essays, letters of recommendation, and other information included with the application. Two recommendations must be submitted. Please visit the scholarship's website or contact the Renee B. Fisher Foundation for more information.
