1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
This scholarship honors the late Paul Ecke, Jr. of Encinitas, Calif., who made indispensable contributions to the advancement of the global floriculture industry. Each year, one student will receive a scholarship for two consecutive years, providing that they continue to meet requirements for this duration and submit an annual update. Three letters of recommendation, one of which must be from the applicant's floriculture-related advisor, are required. Applicants must also submit a short video (up to three minutes) of themselves. In this video, applicants must communicate to the selection committee why they are the best candidate for this scholarship. They must describe or show their current or proposed research project.
