1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Minnie L. Maffett Scholarship will provide financial assistance to promote medical and nursing education for women. Scholarship monies must be used at an accredited college, university or certification program. If seeking a degree, applicants must have completed at least two semesters of studies. If seeking certification only, applicants must be registered for the certification program and have already paid the fees associated therewith. Applicants must be pursuing a M.D., D.O., O.D., BSN, MSN, DNP or a Master of Science in Medical Sciences, Bachelor or Master of Science in Nursing; or in pursuit of a degree or certification in one of the areas listed in the scholarship's website. Two letters of reference and the name of the institution and student ID for the scholarship check and address to send the check must be submitted.
