1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Howard Coughlin Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to a member or an associate member of OPEIU in good standing up until the date of endorsement by the Local Union President or Secretary-Treasurer. The son, daughter, stepchild or legally adopted child of an OPEIU member in good standing or an associate member may also apply. A high school senior or high school graduate, or students presently enrolled in an undergraduate degree are eligible to apply for this scholarship. Twelve full-time scholarships will be awarded, with a payment of $1,625.00 for each year of higher education with a maximum value of $6,500.00, pending proof of enrollment. Eight part-time scholarships will be awarded, with a payment of $662.50 for each year of part-time higher education with a maximum value of $2,650.00, pending proof of enrollment.
