1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Jeanne E. Harris Chrysalis Scholarship provides degree-completion funding for women geoscience graduate students whose education has been significantly interrupted by life circumstances. Awarded funds are intended for a graduate student who is in the final stages of completing her thesis or dissertation but due to a significant interruption has not yet been able to complete her writing or defense. A qualified applicant must be someone who has contributed to, and will continue to contribute to, both the geosciences and the larger global community through her academic and personal strengths. Letters of reference from the applicant's thesis or dissertation advisor and another scientist of her choice must be submitted.
