1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Scripps Howard Fund is a public charity that supports philanthropic causes important to The E.W. Scripps Company and the communities it serves, with a special emphasis on journalism education, excellence in journalism and childhood literacy. At the crossroads of the classroom and the newsroom, the Fund is a leader in supporting journalism through scholarships, internships, minority recruitment and development and First Amendment causes. Applicants for this scholarship must have at least one semester of schooling remaining at their respective institution (no graduating seniors). Those applying should have an interest in television broadcast media and be enrolled at a college, university, or trade school. Two letters of recommendation are required.
