The Charles H. Bussmann Graduate Scholarship will be awarded to graduate students currently enrolled in a marine-related field, with a focus on marine technology, marine engineering, or marine science. One letter of recommendation is required from a teacher, counselor, professor, advisor, co-op or internship supervisor in a marine-related course(s), performed research for or received advice from within the past two years. One letter of reference (character reference) is also required from someone the applicant knows who is not a teacher, counselor, advisor or professor. This letter is to highlight the qualities, characteristics, and capabilities of the scholarship applicant.
