1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Alaska Geological Society Scholarship is for students at an accredited institute of higher education. They must have a status as a BA, BS, MS, or PhD candidate in geoscience or equivalent degree program. They must have a project or thesis/dissertation topic focused on Alaskan geology or related geoscience topics. A cover letter describing the applicant's personal and educational career goals, their interest in the Earth Sciences, their financial need, and how they would use the scholarship funds is required. A project description if you are an undergraduate student, or a copy of your thesis proposal if you are a graduate student is required. A minimum of two letters of recommendation must be submitted.
