1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The FRA Education Foundation offers a special scholarship for unmarried, dependent children of past and present enlisted Navy medical personnel who have served with the Marine Corps. The Colonel Hazel Elizabeth Benn Scholarship is available to qualified applicants entering their freshman or sophomore year of college. Applicants must be attending or attend a state or regionally accredited institution of post-secondary education located in the United States. The applicant's sponsor must be a current FRA member in good standing or an FRA member in good standing at time of death, and served, or is now serving in the U.S. Navy as an enlisted medical rating assigned to and serving with the U.S. Marine Corps. Students may provide their SAT/ACT scores, if applicable. On a separate sheet of paper, applicants must list their extracurricular school and community activities, and awards. If they have no extracurricular activities or awards, they must insert a page stating that. All applicants must submit two recommendations, one academic and one community.
