1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Sylvia Rivera Award in Transgender Studies, which honors the memory of Rivera, a transgender activist, will be given for the best book or article to appear in transgender studies this past year (December 2022-December 2023). Applications may be submitted by the author of the work or by nomination. A cover sheet detailing the article's publication venue or book's publisher, date of publication, and complete contact information for the applicant is required. Applicants must also submit the entire article or, for books, the first chapter or first 20 pages in PDF format. Applications may be submitted directly through email or through file-transfer sites such as WeTransfer. Files saved on CD are also accepted. Print copies will not be accepted.
