1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Alberta Centennial Award honors students who have contributed to their communities through outstanding characteristics in citizenship or social responsibility, leadership and community service. Only Alberta high school students who receive the Premier's Citizenship Award can be considered for the Alberta Centennial Award. To be considered for the Alberta Centennial Award, the student must also be enrolled in a post-secondary program for the fall or winter term. Once a school has selected their recipient, the school must submit a completed and signed Alberta Citizenship Awards Application form on behalf of the student. Two letters of reference are required from: someone who has known the nominee for at least 1 year either through school or community or volunteer activities; and/or someone who knows the nominee well enough to support and/or elaborate on the nominee's activities and initiatives as outlined in the Record of Accomplishments Chart.
