1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The IEEE Life Members Graduate Study Fellowship in Electrical Engineering is awarded annually to a first-year graduate student pursuing a Master's degree program (or a doctoral degree program if it is the first graduate degree for the student) for work in the area of electrical engineering at an engineering school or program of recognized standing worldwide. In the event the college is conducting a combined B.S. and M.S. degree program, the student in the penultimate year would be eligible for the award, which would apply in the final year of the program. Applicants must provide letters of recommendation from three college or university professors who are familiar with their work. Letters of recommendation should address the following areas: the applicant's ability to perform graduate work; originality and creativity; character; diligence and social responsibility; ability to lead; ability to communicate; where the reference would rank the applicant among students they have known in this field in recent years.
