1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Wadsworth International Fellowship provides funding for students pursuing a PhD or equivalent doctoral degree at universities where they can receive international-level training in anthropology. Fellowships are only available to students from countries where anthropology is underrepresented and where there are limited resources to educate students overseas. We prioritize applicants who have not yet begun graduate training abroad (or are in the early stages of their program) and who are likely to return to an academic position in their home country upon completion of their degree. Fellows may renew the award for up to two additional years. Candidates must have an application for doctoral admission pending at their chosen host institution at the time they apply for this award. The host institution must provide high-quality training in anthropology and have a strong international reputation. It may be located anywhere in the world. Applicants who hold a relevant master's degree and who have already begun their doctoral program at their host institution are only eligible to apply if they are currently in the first year of their doctoral studies and if they will not be in a position to begin their fieldwork until the third year of their studies. Please visit the fellowship's website for more information.
