1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
BFWG Academic Awards are awarded in competition on overall academic excellence. They are not intended to meet financial needs. The academic awards are for those who will be in, or going into, their third year of doctoral research, or part time equivalent, at the time when the awards are given out in the autumn of each year. The amounts offered in award range upwards from 1,000 pounds with the average academic award being around 3,000 pounds and the maximum being 6,000 pounds, payable in two parts. Applicants must be registered at a university in England, Wales or Scotland (not Northern Ireland). They must also have residency, at least temporarily, in England, Wales or Scotland.
