The OREF New Investigator Grant advances the scientific training of the next generation of orthopaedic clinician scientists by providing seed and start-up funding for promising research projects. OREF requires an Orthopaedic Surgeon licensed to practice in the U.S. and working in an U.S. institution in the role of principal investigator (PI). Residents, fellows, and orthopaedic surgeons having completed formal training within the last four years may apply. The LOI deadline is August 12, 2024 and the application deadline is October 14, 2024.
