Applicants must have a professional degree in architecture. They must also be practicing architects, either licensed or unlicensed. Academics may apply, but must also be practicing architects. Two letters of recommendation must be submitted. Letters should be written in support of the proposed travel plans and attest to the applicant's capability and professional promise.
