1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Maryland Dent-Care Loan Assistance Repayment Program is a student loan assistance repayment program for dentists who treat Maryland's most vulnerable populations. The purpose of MDC-LARP is to increase access to oral health care services for Maryland Medical Assistance Program (MMAP) recipients by increasing the number of dentists treating this population. An applicant must be a practicing dentist in Maryland who has graduated from an accredited US dental school and have a valid unrestricted license to practice dentistry in Maryland; employed full-time as a dentist in Maryland providing care to Maryland Medical Assistance Program (MMAP) recipients in Maryland; a dentist with at least 30 percent of their patient population as MMAP recipients; and is currently paying off outstanding student loan debt. Recipients may renew their award for up to two years. A personal statement and an essay are required. Three recommendations must also be submitted.
