1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
Embark is a high-school-to-college transition program designed for high school students who are unsure about what comes next. A $2,000 scholarship for a two-year program at a Maine community college or $1,000 for a one-year program will be awarded to students. To qualify, students must be at least a junior attending a school that is partnering with Embark. They must be on track to graduate with their class and be "in good standing." In choosing applicants, schools may consider financial need and whether students would be the first in their family to go to college. Students must see their school counselor to complete the quick and easy application and then have it signed by their parent or guardian. Please visit the scholarship's website or contact the Maine Community College System for more information.
