1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Wilma Hoyal-Maxine Chilton Memorial Scholarships will be awarded to a student at eligible universities in Arizona enrolled as a second year or upper division student in Political Science, Public Programs or Special Education. Applicants must be a resident of Arizona for at least one year. Honorably discharged veterans or immediate family members of a veteran will be given preference. Applicants must complete at least 12 hours with a grade average of "B" or better. Three letters of reference from persons who can testify to the applicant's character, aptitude, initiative, and need must be submitted. They may be from the applicant's instructors, counselor, financial aid director, clergyman or employer. Former recipient continuing degree programs as listed above may re-apply provided the applicant complies with rules, submitting new application data.
