1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Frances Crawford Marvin American Indian Scholarship will be awarded once a year to a student who must be enrolled in college or university. Applicants must be Native Americans and proof of American Indian blood is required by letter or proof papers. A recipient may reapply for this scholarship and be considered along with other members of the applicant pool. The amount of scholarship is based on the total return of the endowment and may vary from year to year. At least two, but not more than four recommendations must be submitted. Recommendations should convey the applicant's ability, work habits, integrity, character, potential, and volunteer activities. A copy of the applicant's proof of United States citizenship is also required: birth certificate, naturalization papers, or information page of United States Passport must be included. If using a passport as proof of citizenship, cover the photograph. Submitting an expired passport or picture of yourself will result in your application being disqualified.
