1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Student Tennessee Education Association (STEA) Scholarship is available to undergraduate students who are STEA members. One $2,000 scholarship will be awarded to the president of the STEA; one $1,500 scholarship will be awarded to a STEA member; and two $750 scholarships will be awarded to STEA members. Primary consideration for recipient selection shall be based upon academic excellence, economic need, and a demonstrated interest in becoming a teacher. School and community, association, and Future Teachers of America or Student TEA involvement will also be considered. Application must be made through the local STEA Chapter. Applicants must also attach a recommendation from one teacher or counselor who has taught the applicant within the last three years, and one additional recommendation from someone who may or may not be an educator.
