1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The annual Al Neuharth Free Spirit and Journalism Conference for high school juniors returns to the nation's capital. After three years of online meetings, the Freedom Forum is pleased to welcome students again to in-person activities including remarks from top journalists and visits to the U.S. Capitol and other landmarks in Washington, D.C. Students selected for the program receive an all-expenses-paid trip and a scholarship to the college of their choice. Two letters of recommendation are required. Letters should describe your qualities, interest in journalism and characteristics that make you a free spirit. Letter writers must be familiar with your journalistic work and personal characteristics. Three journalistic work samples and two essays must be submitted.
