1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Hawaii Education Association Continuing College Student Scholarship will be awarded to undergraduate and graduate college students pursuing a career in education in any state or nationally accredited institution of higher learning in the 2024-2025 academic year. Preference will be given to those in preK-12 teaching. This scholarship is open only to HEA members, their children, and/or their grandchildren. Members must be in good standing and shall have been members for at least one year. A recommendation from a person familiar with the applicant's academic goals and performance is required. The letter should be relevant to the applicants program of studies. There are separate forms for the application and the recommendation, and they may be submitted online or through email.
