The Douglas Barton Memorial Scholarship is designed to actively promote the pursuit of and set forth a program for acknowledgement of outstanding candidates in the area of environmental control as it relates to the pulp, paper, and allied industries. Applicants must demonstrate a strong desire to pursue a career in environmental control as it relates to the pulp, paper, and allied industries. If required by the Committee after selection, applicants must complete an interview with a designate of the TAPPI Environmental Working Group Scholarship Committee.
