This scholarship honors the legacy of Oregon AFSCME Council #75 members by supporting their children, grandchildren, spouses, and dependents in pursuing higher education. Eligible applicants must demonstrate a connection to Oregon Council #75 through active membership or qualifying status. Awards are renewable and may consider financial need. The program encourages civic engagement and labor advocacy, with applicants required to submit a brief essay on the role of political organizing and contract bargaining in advancing workers' rights.
