1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Sam Rose Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to a male or female candidate chosen from members, spouses, sons, daughters, grandsons, or granddaughters of current or deceased members, in good standing at time of death, of LA FRA or FRA. Applicants must be attending a college located in the United States, and not have received or will not be receiving scholarships, awards or grants that fully pay tuition for the 2 fall college semesters. Applicants must provide exactly two recommendations, one academic and one community. Academic recommendations may come from a teacher, professor, dean, academic mentor, faculty advisor, etc. Community recommendations may come from a pastor/priest/rabbi, overseer of volunteer work, beneficiary of community work the applicant may have done, scout master, employer, or someone within the applicant's community who can speak to their character and contributions outside of academia.
