1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
In 1985, GFOA's Executive Board voted to create the Goldberg-Miller Public Finance Scholarship to recognize outstanding performances by graduate program students preparing for a career in state and local government finance. There is no specified course of study, but it should have a relationship to state or local government finance. Two letters of recommendation from someone who can speak to the applicant's commitment to the public sector must be submitted. There is no employment requirement.
