The Dina Abramowicz Emerging Scholar Fellowship is intended for post-doctoral research on a topic in Eastern European Jewish Studies. The work should lead to a significant scholarly publication and may encompass the revision of a doctoral dissertation. The fellowship carries a stipend for the holder to conduct research at the YIVO Library and Archives for a period of two to three months and to deliver a public lecture. Applicants must submit a cover letter, where they can introduce themselves and their project, and specify the fellowship for which they wish to apply. Applicants must also submit a summary of their research plan, specifying those YIVO resources that they intend to utilize. Then, applicants must provide the name and e-mail address of two academic references. They will receive an e-mail with information on how to upload a letter of reference.
