The American Meteorological Society (AMS) is pleased to invite applications for the AMS Graduate Fellowship in the History of Science, to be awarded to a student in the process of completing a dissertation on the history of the atmospheric, or related oceanic or hydrologic sciences. The Society encourages applications from women, minorities, and disabled students, traditionally underrepresented in the atmospheric and related oceanic and hydrologic sciences. The Fellowship will support one year of dissertation research. To apply, the candidate must be a graduate student in good standing proposing to complete a dissertation as described before. Candidates must be pursuing a degree at a U.S. institution. Three letters of recommendation, including one from the applicant's dissertation advisor, must be submitted.
