The Professor Bernard Choseed Memorial Fellowship and the Natalie and Mendel Racolin Memorial Fellowship support original doctoral or post-doctoral research in the field of East European Jewish studies. These fellowships are for a period of three months of research at the YIVO Library and Archives, as well as two public lectures by the holder. Applicants must submit a cover letter, where they can introduce themselves and their project, and specify the fellowship for which they wish to apply. Applicants must also submit a summary of their research plan, specifying those YIVO resources that they intend to utilize. Then, applicants must provide the name and e-mail address of two academic references. They will receive an e-mail with information on how to upload a letter of reference.
