1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Kids' Chance of West Virginia, Inc. Scholarship will be awarded to students who are children of West Virginia's workers who have been seriously, catastrophically or fatally injured in an on-the-job accident, who due to lack of financial resources resulting from the accident, would not otherwise have the opportunity to pursue further schooling. To verify eligibility for the scholarship, applicants must attach a copy of the order or letter from the workers' compensation carrier granting a disability award or dependent's benefits. If the applicant does not have a copy of the order or letter granting benefits, a copy may be obtained from the workers' compensation carrier. Applicants must submit their most recent grades.
