The ESA Distinguished Achievement Award in Extension recognizes one individual annually who has made outstanding contributions in the field of extension work. Through their dedication and expertise, they have positively influenced the field of entomology and made a significant difference in addressing entomology-related challenges. The nominee must have demonstrated excellent performance through program creativity, impact, achievement, and delivery. Nominators must provide the candidate's CV which includes the Background Information, Extension or Outreach Section, and Service information. Up to two letters of nomination or endorsement from professional colleagues and clientele must be submitted. The nominees or candidates will be judged by the Judging Panel based on their Professional Background and Program Management.
