The Light Metals Division Scholarship is available to students who are majoring in metallurgical and/or materials science and engineering with an emphasis on both traditional (aluminum, magnesium, beryllium, titanium, lithium and other reactive metals) and emerging (composites, laminates, etc.) light metals. The applicant must be a student member of Material Advantage. Submitted coursework must be relevant to the scholarship for which the student is applying. Three recommendations from educators and/or employees who are familiar with the applicant's background must be submitted. Students may also submit a CV, but it is optional.
